Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Himachal Pradesh, India is offering summer training for the duration of 2 weeks in July 2023 in different areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering to M.Tech./ B.Tech students. Faculty or students from any other course may also contact the coordinator for enrollment in the training program.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) offers B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D courses. As the name suggest this stream of engineering deals with the research, design, development and testing of electronic and communication equipment. After completing four year engineering degree in ECE, graduates will have strong theoretical foundation, good design experience and exposure to research and development. The stream also strives to solve engineering problems related to Communication Systems, Electronic, Computer and other related industries. The curriculum is designed in such a way to develop the ability among students to synthesize data and technical concepts from applications to product design.

PG / Private hostel / Sharing accommodation are available around JUIT, assistance might be provided by the organizers for students who do not wish to stay in hostel.
1. Fee for the training program is to be submitted by Online Mode (RTGS/NEFT) ONLY. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
2. Fill the Online Application form for the summer training program with Personal Details, Photograph, and Details of Payment Made (UTR No. etc). (Please DO NOT SEND ANY HARD COPIES).

3. Confirmation of your registration would be mailed within Ten days of receipt of online form, after confirmation of fee from the Accounts.
4. Summer training would be allotted on First Come First Serve (FCFS) Basis, with maximum 25 Seats.

1. Training letter issued from Dean/HoD/Training Coordinator of your Institute/Department.

3. Three passport size photographs (For Identity Card, laundry card, registration form etc.)

Training Fee once submitted will NOT BE REFUNDED; as the Kits, Chemicals and Media etc required for the training would already been purchased. Hence, please ensure that you would be able to attend the training before application and fee deposit. However, Hostel fee if deposited and student does not undergo the training due to genuine / unavoidable reasons would be returned.
Covid-19 Disclaimer: According to present guidelines by Himachal Pradesh Govt. the proposed Summer Training would be successfully organized on the dates mentioned. However, any Govt order due to Covid-19 scenario leading to closure of JUIT for students would impact the proposed Summer Training. In any such situation registered students would be duly informed.
The University is situated in the neighborhood of Shimla, 3 KM off the NH22 (Ambala-Kalka-Waknaghat-Shimla road). It is just half an hour drive to Shimla from campus. The nearby places of tourist attractions are Shimla (24 Km), Chail (45 Km), Kufri (45 Km), Kasauli (50 Km) and many more.
